We are preparing to implement the culture / tools of Lean Manufacturing and are currently seeking out training for Top Management personnel. Any information on available training would be apperciated.

We are also interested in what level of 'belt' training molders have (greenbelt, black belt, master blackbelt) and what the ratio of belts to employees are for different molders ( 1 bb and 3 green belts per 100 employees?)

Assistance or guidance may be available from the Purdue Technical Assistance Program. We have used TAP in other areas, and found the people to be good, especially for getting oriented on how to implement new programs and methods in manufacturing.

I have a business associate who was the #1 go-to guy in Supplier Development for Toyota for years. He knows the Toyota methodology inside and out (and nobody does lean better) and has taught lean at the University of Kentucky.
