What's everyone paying for hydraulic oil? We use two different grades of 68. A premium grade for our newer servo controlled and machines and a lesser grade (less additives) for older machines that are prone to leak more often.

The premium we're at $5.60 a gallon and the lesser at $5.20. This is delivered in bulk form. How's everyone compare? I'd sure like to find some better pricing.

We also generate some waste oil as well. That we're selling for $0.50 a gallon but seems to be the best price we can find.

Our plant in Mississippi I'm told pays under $4 a gallon for hydraulic oil

Those are identical to the prices we are currently getting for new oil and selling waste oil.

We are at 6.20 and was told a 18 percent increase by the 10th of sept from all the major suppliers..It may be a pitch but I would definately look at it.
