Summary of Duties:

Project Engineer is the primary technical contact for assigned customers and projects at Accumold.  Provides daily information to customers and sales staff on the status of assigned projects.  Prepares reports for management showing progress and performance of projects.  Prepares update status on production equipment and new equipment in process of being built.  Provides solutions to challenges in production and new tool building.  Estimates the cost of projects and manages projects with input from Toolroom personnel, Engineering staff and Sales staff.

Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred or suitable combination of education and experience of its equal. 

•Substantial experience with mold building or a strong background within the injection molding industry.

•Competencie should include
◦blue print reading

◦understanding of mold design

◦design software such as SoldWorks.


•Ability to operate personal computer. Knowledge of Windows based programs such as Outlook, Excel, Access, MS Project, Word, AutoCAD and Solid Works.

•Must posess excellent communication skills and the ability to direct and mentor others.

•Effectively presents directions and information in one-on-one and small group situation to other employees or customers.
