We are preparing to upgrade our Production Management system to the latest version of IQMS.  At present we are using IQMS version 03-10-2010 SP2 which is several years old. We don't anticipate any serious challenges, but would like to know if anyone out there has experienced issues with an upgrade of this nature and if so what those problems were.

We recently upgraded, and this is what we learned:

1.  Install all updates since your last, in sequence, including service packs and tech updates.

2.  Any user set up as a DBA will disappear and have to be reestablished.

3.  Take your time, and do it right.

4.  Many screen formats / elements of information will change.  The information is there, but the new looks will take users some time to relearn.

Thank you for your response.  If you are willing, I would like to hear about your plan and what issues you saw.  How can I best contact you?
