Process/Set-up Tech

Gemini Plastics Inc., a world class plastic injection molder, invites exceptional individuals to pursue a career within our organization. If you would like to be part of a growing custom injection molding company, with corporate headquarters located just north of Philadelphia, PA, then Gemini Plastics has a place for you. We have continued to grow throughout the economic downturn due to our dedication to our customers. We are searching for an experienced Process/Set-up Tech to support our manufacturing operations.

Primary function:

-Mold preparation
-Clean up/maintenance of equipment
-Set-up injection tools and maintains processes to produce high quality parts


-Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO standards,                    Health and Safety requirements, continuous improvement as well as standard work procedures.

-Identify solutions for molding problems as they pertain to injection manufacturing.

-Use technical experience to continually improve manufacturing performance.

-Set-up and start-up of molds.

-Revisions to set-up sheets.

-Work with the production schedule system to avoid down time

Job Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Mechanical aptitude.

- 5 years of injection molding experience.

- First hand knowledge of scientific molding principles and their application.

- Good time management skills

- Willing to learn with a positive attitude


-Able to follow directions and communicate problems to the manager.

-Cross functional interaction.

-Able to direct and train others.
