Looking for hopper mounted material loader that does not exhaust dust into air? Filters on loaders not doing an adequate job of eliminating material fines.
Has anyone solved this problem?

Check out Pelletron..  We have one of their systems that could be hopper mounted but we use it from the gaylord to the drier so the dust is removed before the drier or hopper saving two filters and shop dust.

We’ve used Pelletron Dedust Services.  They also make dedusting equipment.

We tried to eliminate the dust and have not yet been successful however we did find another way to deal with it.  Conair makes a receiver that is filterless and allows the dusty fines to go right into the machine along with the virgin/regrind mix that we use.  It has eliminated loading issues due to clogged filters and our molding process is still stable.  Below is a link to the Conair webpage with more information.

Conair also makes a powder loader that may be an option for you as well, below is a link for more information.
