PRD is evaluating our current attendance / units policy.  Is anyone willing to share their current policy?
We currently use a unit system and a rolling 6 month time frame.
less than a 1/2 day is 1/2 unit
more than a 1/2 day is 1 unit
3 units = verbal
2 units after verbal = written
1 unit after written = discipline
Anyone using the attendance calendar and violations script feature in IQMS?  Thoughts?

Thanks for any insight.

Hi Sarah.  If you will e-mail me at I'd be happy to share our policy.  Thanks

I can share ours as well.  We just revamped it this year.

I can also share, if you like.  We have (in my opinion) a very generous attendance policy, so if anyone points out...they fire themselves!

Thank you Ginger and Julie.

Kelly - If you don't mind emailing it to me, I would appreciate it!

I just sent all of you an email with 2 attendance policy documents.  If you would send me your policies, the MAPP staff relish the opportunity to reach out to all of the other HR professionals and create a great benchmarking document.

Troy,  Please include me in a copy of the attendance policies.  We are in the process of moving from a points based "No fault" policy to a " performance expectation/guideline" based policy.  Would be great to see other examples.  We can share pro's and con's that lead to our policy change.

I would also appreciate being included in the email. Our attendance policy definitely needs an overhaul.
