Hello all,

We are in the process of evaluating Plex, IQMS, Epicore, and Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP software for our operations.  We are a contract manufacture in North Jersey and I was hoping to get a little feed back regarding any insight that you could provide about these systems.  Specifically, which system you chose, when your implementation was complete, how long it took to implement (phase 1), approximate cost, any PROs/CONs to note, and any general lessons learned that you think would be relevant for the selection process.

Thank you in advance,
Tommy Johns

Tommy, as you know, this is a very large undertaking.  On the MAPP website, under the Members Tab is a link to our Business and Technical Directory.  If you look under software, you will see a variety of members identified with different platforms.  The most used ERP software in MAPP is IQMS used by about 30% of our membership base.

I have countless resources to link you with as far as IQMS is concerned as many of current and past board members use that system.

Also, I am going to send you a software study we published a couple of years ago; it might have a data point or two you could use (it's been awhile since I've looked at the published study.

I'll stand-by for your guidance.
