Looking for a way to measure the thickness of an over-molded plastic onto a stainless shaft without destroying the part. Any Ideas/Equipment/Labs?

You can CT scan the assembly.  The density of both materials is different, so you can measure the plastic thickness separately.
We use Hadtek for scanning, and they give us point cloud info (which we convert), or measure what we send them.
