Plastic Industry Forum - Converse with Plastics Processing Leaders / Business / Project and Document (APQP) Management Software

There are many softwares available to help manage projects and documents.  To many manufactures this is called APQP, or similar.  Looking for some ideas of what is used successfully today.

Our system today is manual.  We have the need to drive a more collaborative approach that communicates more effectively across all departments, in multiple facilities.  Ideally, we want to be able to combine project management, document control and corrective action all in to one database system.

Thanks for the input!

Anyone want to provide the names of the project development software that they utilize?  And maybe even some pros and cons.

Plex
CEBOS
IQMS

All have various abilities for this.  Just looking for other options.  Thanks!

Still looking for feedback on Quality Management / Project Management functionality.  Looking at

Plex
QAD / CEBOS
IQMS

Who has feedback (PROs and CONs) of any of the above?  Are the others?

Hi Nathan,

Would love to give you a better answer, but we also use more of a "homegrown" system.  I have heard good things about IQMS's project management module, and functionality, but cannot speak directly from experience. We are looking to make the switch within the next year.

Regards,
Jim
