This position works under the supervision of the Director of Manufacturing and Distribution Operations. Areas of responsibility are reviewed on a periodic or as needed basis; little day-to-day supervision is required.

Project Goals are set that may span several weeks to several months with periodic milestones related to the project. Direct and frequent interaction with other business and support units is required

Minimum of 3 years management/supervisory experience is required

Familiarity with standard Industrial/Manufacturing engineering practices is required in the areas of: setting standards, developing processes, implementing engineering changes, product cost estimation, product data management, writing work instructions, etc.

Understanding of shop floor management, production scheduling, quality practices, inventory management, product costing, and supply chain operations is strongly desired.

Experience with ERP software development, configuration, and user training strongly desired.

Indicate one or more measurable key results, in annual dollars, upon which the job had direct or indirect impact such as sales volume, operating budget, cost of goods, department budget or payroll costs supervised.
Annual cost management objectives will be developed during the budgeting process related to Engineering Change Impact goals.

Project work will be evaluated on maintaining target implementation dates and achieving projected cost savings/process improvements.

Department expense budgets for the Engineering Specifications group are developed during the annual budgeting process

A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
