Injection Mold Process Engineer (Blow Mold) Responsibilities: http://www.stihlcareers.com/job.php?id=35100
•    Develops, evaluates, and improves plastics molding and subsequent operations manufacturing methods.
•    Plans, schedules, and conducts tests and analyses on samples of competed parts.
•    Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
•    Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
•    Coordinates/works with vendors to determine/evaluate product specifications and arrange for the purchase of equipment, materials, or parts according to specifications and quality standards.
•    Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
•    Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
•    Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
•    Assumes additional related responsibilities as required.

Polymer / Injection Mold Process Engineer Responsibilities: http://www.stihlcareers.com/job.php?id=41691
•    Assists in the development of proposals that provide cost savings or increased efficiency.  Estimates savings expected from proposals.
•    Coordinates and sets up machines, lines and other equipment performing necessary tests to ensure compliance to STIHL Inc. standards.  May train employees in the correct procedures for operation.
•    Assists in scheduling tests for evaluating engineering procedures to audit STIHL Inc. compliance to policies, procedures, and international, federal, state and municipal legislation.
•    Gathers and correlates existing data, compiles new data, performs standard statistical analyses to establish trends and offer solutions in order to resolve problems and prepares summary reports/presentations for management evaluation.
•    Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
•    Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.

Injection Mold Process Engineer (Blow Mold) Requirements:
•    A minimum of a BS degree is required, preferably in Mechanical or Plastics Engineering or a related discipline.
•    4+ years of related experience with process, equipment, and materials.
•    Use of design software like AutoCAD and Solid Works.
•    Must have experience working in a high volume production environment with tight tolerance requirements.
•    Excellent computer skills using MS Office Suite and other software programs.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Must be self-motivated and have excellent organizational skills.

Polymer / Injection Mold Process Engineer Requirements:
•    4 year college degree preferred in Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline or equivalent experience
•    4+ years related experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience
•    Ability to process Electric Milacron and hydraulic Engel machines and various robots including Engel and Fanuc
•    Experience working in a high volume Injection Molding production environment with tight tolerance requirements.
•    Excellent computer skills using MS Office Suite and other software programs.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Must be self-motivated and have excellent organizational skills.
