Thogus is in our 1st year of IQMS.  We are learning as we go, and have a question regarding weekly plant efficiency.  We are trying to establish a report by which we can evaluate our weekly efficiency by press, by plant.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

There are 3 utilization reports in IQ starting with the Production/Labor Icon/Archived/OK/Reports/Print.
Or, in Crystal Reports there are the 3 reports, all starting with "Utilization".

Matt, I've contacted Bamar Plastics, Atek Plastis, PRD, PCI, and JACO Manufacturing as they have all listed themselves as experts with the IQMS system.

If you want to reach out directly, simply to go the Business and Technical Resource Directory under the Members Section of the MAPP website, and scroll down to ERP Software.  There are a variety of resources.  Click on the email address of the corresponding expert and send, or call them direct.

Let me know if you still need help!

Matt - As for canned reports in IQ, there are not to many of them. There is a good canned report relating to OEE which includes an efficiency number as part of the report or what they call 'Performance' calculation. You just have to input the time frame.

Report is called 'Work Center Summary OEE Factors'.

It is in the following modules:

MFG / Production/Labor Reporting in the reports menu

Let me know if you have problems finding it.

It depends on what 'Plant Efficiency' means to you. You might have to do some custom reporting in IQ to get what you are looking for.

IQ calculates Efficiency as (Actual Cycle / STD Cycle)x 100...   To me this is a cycle efficiency calculation.

In IQ, Cycle Efficiency = (((Good Parts / Std Cavitiy) / Shift Up
Hrs) / (3600 / STD Cycle)) x 100.... To me this is a good 'Efficiency' calculation since it includes 'good parts made' as part of the calculation.

PRD does not currently use EnterpriseIQ for this type of reporting.  As such, we cannot provide relevant input on this issue.
