Does anyone know of a good secondary source for hydraulic oil filters, o-rings and such? (other than the OEM's)

I've used Martin Fluid Power for o-rings and other seals. http://mfpseals.com/

I purchase hydraulic oil filters from my local Parker store. They cost a little more but considering what they are protecting, well worth it. http://www.parker.com

Wayne,

We mostly have electric machines. We do have some hydraulics but due to we only have a few machines we mainly go with the OEM on fluid filters/Orings. However, we do utilize the following vendor for some unusal hydraulic applications and they have came through for us in past. Worth talking with them on your applications. They do a good job.

Vendor info
Air HydroPower
Louisville, KY

Paula is one of our contacts
can be reached at 502-451-1000 x8214

Good luck,

Rick

Wayne -

We use Martin Fluid Power (248.585.8170), AZ Sealing Devices (480.892.7325), or PPE for o-rings and such.  For hydraulic filters, we use Barkley-Playman (480.968.7416) or Advance Hydraulics (307.235.5086).

Wayne, for what it’s worth, I have had good results both in price and quality from a company called Filpro. (www.filpro.com) 800-324-8940. Are you looking for large quantities of O-rings? We do have a source that we use in an assembly that I could get the contact information for. Let me know.

Thanks to everyone who replied to this posting. I was impressed with the response. We are currently exploring every suggestion and I am confident we will get a good source out of this.

Thanks also to Troy Nix for supplying the venue and calling me to follow up on my satisfaction level. "It's a 10!"
